These are courses which help nurture a a caring and supportive relationship by carers and help understanding of the stages of a child's development from pregnancy through to 19 years through interactive activities. Courses available are;
Understanding pregnancy, labour, birth and your baby, understanding your baby, understanding your child. understanding your teenager's brain.

Think to drink H20
Water makes up more than half of a child’s body. It is vital children drink enough fluid to maintain a healthy balance.
Children become dehydrated by not drinking enough fluid or by losing fluids and not replacing them. If it isn’t treated it can get worse and become a serious problem.
Adults need to be a good role model by following this advice.

Getting it right for every child (GIRFEC) is Scotland’s approach to help children thrive and grow to be all they can be.
Children and families are at the centre of all the services working for and with them.
Healthy Start
In Scotland Healthy Start vitamins are distributed via various methods. Depending where you reside in Scotland vitamins are distributed via community pharmacies and through dispensing practices. While some Health Boards distribute vitamins directly via their midwives and health visitors.
Children’s Health Scotland
Children’s Health Scotland is the only charity in Scotland dedicated to informing, promoting and campaigning on behalf of the needs of all sick children and young people within our healthcare system. We make sure children and young people get the healthcare and treatment they need.
Worry Box (age 6-16 yrs)
This app serves as a journal for children and adolescents to record their worrisome thoughts. Steps are then identified in managing the worry.
Positive Penguins (age 9-11yrs)
PP is a resilience building app for children aged 9-11yrs. Helps children to understand their thoughts and feelings and what to do when feeling anxious. Includes simple 5 minute graded and guided relaxation exercises.
SAM (Self Help for Anxiety Management) (Age 12 yrs +)
This app provides self-help techniques to help manage overall anxiety. Track anxiety levels, triggers, and build a personal tool kit in the app. It also provides interactive guidance for practicing self-help and a closed social community to engage with others. If you’re looking for holistic snapshot of your anxiety and how to cope with it, this may be the app for you.
Headspace (age 12yrs+)
Meditation app. Learn to relax. 10mins free for 10 days then small subscription.
Safespot (age 6-12 yrs)
Downloadable app (android and IOS) developed by a child psychiatrist who used to work in FV. Promotes mental wellbeing by teaching coping skills.
